Preheat and Prep

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C), prepare your baking sheet and baking paper.

Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl mix 280gr of flour, a pinch of baking soda, and salt.

Cream the butter and sugars

With a manual or electric mixer, mix 225 grams of unsalted butter, 150gr of brown sugar, 50gr of white sugar and a large egg, and vanilla extract.

Combine everything

Then you can fold the flour and the baking powder into your preparation with a spatula, until you do not see any flour left. But try to not mix it too much to get a good cookie texture.

Afterwards, you can simply add chocolate chips and the chopped pecan nuts.
