- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup of crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Fresh parsley for garnish optional
Step 2: Prepare the Chicken
Season both sides of your chicken breasts with salt, pepper and oregano. Place your chicken in the oven dish, with the whole feta square and your cherry tomatoes. Drizzle with lemon juice before placing the skillet in the oven.
Step 3: Bake to Perfection
Transfer the dish to your preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should read 165°F). The feta will become creamy, while the juices from the tomatoes will blend with the herbs.
