Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups of cooked and shredded chicken
  • 6 cups of cornbread crumbled
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 cup of celery diced
  • 1 cup of onion diced
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 2 eggs beaten

Instructions
 

Step 1: Sauté the Vegetables

  • Start by melting the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced celery and onion, cooking until they become soft and fragrant.

Step 2: Mix the Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the crumbled cornbread, sautéed vegetables, chicken broth, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper. Gently fold in the cooked chicken and beaten eggs. Your chicken and dressing mixture is almost ready to bake!

Step 3: Bake to Perfection

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the chicken and dressing mixture into a buttered baking dish. Bake for approximately 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
